Southwick Park

Southwick Park in Hampshire, is home to the Defence School of Policing, Security and Guarding - the Ministry of Defence Police's dedicated training centre.

Southwick Park provides world-class initial and specialist training for MDP officers alongside their Service Police counterparts from the Royal Navy Police, Royal Military Police, and Royal Air Force Police. Consolidating training across all four organisations ensures consistent professional standards and fosters collaboration between Defence policing services.

MDP delivers training excellence through experienced instructors and a comprehensive curriculum, all new officers will pass through Southwick Park where they will build the foundations of a career of defending Defence.
