MDP Headquarters, based in Cambridgeshire, brings together the leadership and support functions that keep the Ministry of Defence Police operating effectively across the UK.

HQ provides strategic direction, policy, and support functions for the Force across its nine UK regions, housing the senior leadership team alongside specialist departments including Human Resources, Finance, Professional Standards, and Intelligence and Crime.

Officers and Civil Servants at HQ work collaboratively to ensure the Force operates effectively, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in support of frontline policing across Defence sites nationwide.
