Before beginning your new recruit journey with the Ministry of Defence Police, it's important to check you meet our essential requirements. Our Eligibility Assessment and Application Request Form will take you through a few simple questions to determine if you meet our key criteria for a career as an Authorised Firearms Officer. If your answers meet our key criteria, you will be asked to provide your name and email address, and to submit your response. You will then receive a full application pack, by email, within 10 working days. Although you will not receive an email acknowledgement, rest assured that we will be working hard to get your full application pack to you.
