NEOF - Application request

Before joining the Ministry of Defence Police, please check you meet our essential requirements. Our Eligibility Assessment and Application Request Form will take you through a few simple questions to confirm you meet our key criteria. If your answers meet our requirements, you will be asked to provide your name, email address, and details of your current or previous force. You will then receive a full application pack by email within 10 working days. Although you will not receive an email acknowledgement, rest assured we will be working to get your application pack to you promptly.

Service
Are you are a serving (or recently serving within the last 36 months) regular police officer from a UK Civilian Police Force? We accept applications from Home Office Police Forces, BTP, CNC, PSNI & Police Scotland.

Unfortunately, you are not eligible to apply via our New Entrant From Other Forces route. However, you may be eligible to apply as a New Recruit. Visit our New Recruit Application Request page to check your eligibility and request an application pack.

Probation
Have you completed a minimum of 2 years’ service, been signed off on probation and completed your initial training programme (ie PCEP/PCDA/PDHEP)? If you have under 4 years’ service you will be required to provide evidence of completion of probation and training programme with your application.

Investigations
Are you currently subject to a live/ongoing investigation involving your conduct or performance? This excludes public complaints but please be aware police vetting would be unable to progress until any complaints were satisfied.
